How to set up a password on Windows 11 ?

To do this, you will have to go to the options of your computer and follow step by step what we are going to tell you here:
- First head to the Start menu and click on the “Settings” app tile.
- Then, in the Settings window, click on the “Accounts” tab present on the left sidebar.
- Then, scroll down in the right part of the window to find the “ Connection options » and click on it to continue.
- After accessing the next screen, head to the bottom part of the window to locate the “ Password » and click on it to expand the corresponding section.
- Next, locate the “Add” button which will allow you to change the password. By clicking on this button, a new window will open on your screen so that you can change the password.
- Enter the password you want in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” fields. Finally, click on the “Next” button.
That's it, the password is now active. Note that you have the possibility to give you a hint in case of lost password. Be careful, however, that this index is not the password itself.

Set up a PIN code
Finally, note that it is also possible to set up additional security with Windows Hello. If your device is equipped with digital or facial recognition, you can activate it.
