You are trying to open google or any other website and you get the following error "unable to connect to real chrome.google.com site"? Don't panic! It's probably because of your computer clock that is disturbed.
Browsers rely on the clock of our machines to be properly synchronized in order to verify the SSL certificate.
If the date, time, or time zone on the computer is not correct, you will get the following error message:
To correct this problem, here are the steps to follow to update the time on your computer.
- First, click on the date in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Then select “Date and time settings”.
- Then click on the "edit" button to set a date and time manually.
- Adjust the date and time then click Edit.
- Close your browser and reopen it. Then try to revisit the website.
This method will correct the error "unable to connect to real google site / website "and SSL certificate errors.
