The Chrome web browser includes a cleaning module capable of locating andremove malware from your PC. Useful for quickly cleaning up a PC without installing anything!

This tutorial explains how to use this function to remove malware, infections and other parasites on your computer. The detection is done through the security editor ESET, editor of the NOD32 antivirus.

How to remove malware?

The malware detection function of Google's web browser is free and particularly easy to use. It does not require downloading or installation. However, it needs an Internet connection to carry out its mission.

Here is how to use it.

  • Open the Chrome browser on your PC and click on Settings.
  • Scroll through the options and then, at the bottom of the page, click the Advanced Settings drop-down menu.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the options provided, then in the Reset and clean up section, click Clean up computer to launch the software detection tool.
  • To start the scan, click the Search button.
  • Wait while Google scans your entire system for malware in the background.
  • If an unwanted program is detected, click the Remove button to eliminate it.
