recALL a free program that allows you to quickly recover all kinds of passwords stored on your computer.
It can recover passwords and license information for many popular applications. Among these applications we can mention:
- Web browsers.
- Mail programs.
- Instant messaging.
- Microsoft Office office suite
- FTP clients.
- Anti-virus.
- ...
More precisely recALL allows to recover the passwords of more than 160 programs and the license keys of nearly 800 applications.
It also has a unique FTP, POP3 and SMTP emulation function to recover passwords from any application supporting these protocols. RecALL works under Windows/7/8/10/11. It is also available in a portable version.
How to use recALL to suck passwords?
After having downloaded and installed recALL, just launch the software and let it do the rest.
At startup, the program gives three options:
- Automatic recovery that will scan your entire hard drive.
- Manual recovery which assumes you know which folder to search.
- The third option allows you to emulate a POP and FTP server
Choose the first option and the program will search for passwords, access codes or license numbers in places in your Windows that you didn't even know existed.
Of course, Wi-Fi access codes are included in the set. The data will then be saved in a CSV file or another format of your choice. Even stronger, recALL can emulate an FTP, POP and SMTP server to recover the password of an unsupported application.
Interesting, isn't it?
RecALL is very useful when you want format your pc and you want recover your software licenses, but I'm sure someone with bad intentions finds many other uses for it. 😉
@Philippe: I only have a warning for my part (normal, given the behavior of the software), but no virus detected at home. Where did you get the executable from?
