Did you know that it is possible toidentify the name of a plant or a flower from a simple photo ? Just point your phone's camera at a flower and you will get your answer.

Then you will be able to know the needs of this plant and to take care of it with sucks. With the app PlantNet you will be able to do all of this in seconds.

PlantNet is an application for Android et iOS which allows you to take a picture of a leaf, a flower or an entire plant in order to know exactly its species.

This application can only identify a plant whose image has already been shared by a user and therefore added to its database.

I've been using it for a few days now, and it seems to be working pretty well. It must be said that it is a very useful application to learn a little more about the flora of your garden or the surrounding nature.

Number of species, origin, sunshine, watering; everything is there to know exactly which plant you are dealing with and what care it requires.

But the database is still under development (especially in North America). And like all image identification apps, the position and quality of the photo is critical.

Finally, PlantNet claims to have over 20 species in its database which grows with each new identification. However, it still has a long way to go before listing the entire plant world, estimated at 000 species.
