What is DNS?

DNS are servers that allow domain names to be transformed (like www.funinformatique.com) to an IP address (type 104.18.59.143).

For simplicity, DNS allows to make the relation between the domain name and IP address. It's a bit like your phone book matching the name Ahmed to his phone number.

To add a new server just click on File -> New DNS Server and enter the name of it as well as the corresponding IP addresses and you're done.

Note that QuickSetDNS provides the IP addresses of Google's public DNS servers by default.
